Hello to everybody
I am an Italian PhD in Microelectronics and I have been offered a position as Research Staff in an Public Institut in Berlin. The salaray scale is referred as according to BAT1b-O. But I don't understand how much exactly is the salary for the job.
I am 31 years old - single, and I have 5 years of work research experience as I worked for my PhD in a industrial french R&D center. I would like to know
what wil be salary after all deductions ?
Kindly provide any relevent links in english if i can know about BAT

I think it is a very difficult question, because the ridicoulus system depend on age, family status and kids.
The easiest way is ask the institut the exact salary you are going to receive based on the information above and of course don't be happy to fast, try to know the netto salary you are going to get.
