Advices for Vorstellungsgesprach!!!

Hi all,
I am a student hier in Germany and I am graduating late next month as MSc in IT.
After a first interview on phone,I have got another invitation for the second round of interview in the software Company.I have done some interviews in the past here in DE for student jobs and internships...I have not yet any experience about how is an interview for a Msc position in a company in DE.
I have been already told that the interview will last 90 min.
Could you give me some advices on how to prepare myself?
Have a nice day ...

Re: Advices for Vorstellungsgesprach!!!

Just stay cool, be nice, smile and present your self at best light.
Remember, your are selling your self, you nolidgmente, your qualification your experience and you have to be the perfect man for the job.
As best you present sour self, so you get the job.
Each company need the best one. Explore the company a bit before, get noldigment who they are, what they are doing, show interest, ask questions and show that you are having concentration and you put your self in company service.
Be you - like: you do not have problems, you are devoted to work, you have best nolidgment, you are best for the place and you know best, you are friend, you are person that each can come to you, but you want also to learn more, give more and exchange your nolidgmente with other colleagues and workers in the company. You work as the boss tells you and always first ask, negotiate, give your opinion and then make decision what is best on.
What the writer wants to say - be idiot and full, and play monkey for those who need to give you crackers to eat.
You will successes - believe me, and it is not problem to have the job but how to keep it. There you have to manage only yourselves.
This is my opinion and help to you.
Best wishes!

Re: Advices for Vorstellungsgesprach!!!

1. if you had no phone interview, being called in a company for interview after sending your CV means that they have seen your profile and want 2 things:
a. to be sure that you have the skills you pretend to have
b. to be sure you can fit in the team/company

2. if you had a phone interview and you are called for a second interview, that means that they find your skills already ok but now want to see if you can fit in the team/company, that's what it is all about.

So an advice: you will never have a second chance to make a first impression.

I had along time ago a document on questions a person in an interview can ask to the company to show that one has interests in working for the company, I will have to search it but I found it at that time on the TechRepublic.com website, I don't know if they still have it.

Post your email address so that I could send it to you if I find it.

@D!
Hey D, what means:
1. Interview with agent that represent the company - personally.
2. Interview over phone with company - personally.
3. Personal interview in company 1-st date - cancelled from me!
4. Company ask immediate second interview...
They want me so bad?

Re: Advices for Vorstellungsgesprach!!!

I don't think they want you *that* bad:

1. Interview with agent that represent the company - personally., I don't think agent personally represents the company, they work for themselves but tell you that it is for the company because they will in fact recommand you to the company. What they do is
a. they get the request from the company
b. they search the database and check for potential candidates
c. they contact the potential candidates and do an interview just to check if the candidates really fit in the job description
d1. if not, the candidate is forgotten
d2. if yes, the candidate is recommanded to the company
e. the company takes it from there and if the candidate is hired, the agent get money from the company for "recommanding" the candidate, I know that because I got money more than once from agents to which I recommanded people I was kinda agent for the agents and I still do it, it brings me 500 euros per placed candidate so I think the agent got really more.

2. Interview over phone with company - personally., that's where my point e. starts and you then follow the normal process.

Re: Advices for Vorstellungsgesprach!!!

Hi Nobody,

Many thx to you.
Here is the email address that you can send the docs to: jordan.j@email.cz

N.B: I have made already a phone interview of about 30 min with the CTO of the company.Even,he asked me to send him some codes I have written becoz he would like to see the quality of my coding style. It´s almost one month later that I have got an invitation that they want to see me personally.
That is basically the process on which I am now with the company.

Looking forward to receive them.
