Spouse Visa during Probationary Period

Hello, I would like to know whether i am eligible to apply for spouse visa. I am living Germany nearly for 9 years (since 2002). I have Niederlassungserlaubniss (permanent visa with work permit). I am working as wiss. mitarbeiter (scientific researcher) at university (years). Soon will be finishing my PhD but certification of PhD will take 4 months. Now, I am changing my job to an industry starting from Feb 2012. Although it is permanent job,in the contract they mentioned first 6 months is a probationary period. Can I apply for spouse visa? What are my option to get visa for my wife?.
