Niederlassungserlaubnis - Daueraufenthalt EG. Anyone got this yet?
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has got the NE with the addendum "Daueraufenthalt EG". I am going there in 2 months and planning on asking for it. I was wondering if there is a precedence already.

Good to know that now there is a seperate paragraph of D-EG in Aufenthaltsgesetz.

But it's not clear to me that what are they going to have on the new stamp?

or just
"Daueraufenthalt EG" with paragraph nr. §9a

good and bad... now they are telling stories like they wait for new stickers which need to come from Berlin to include Daueraufenthalt-EG on them. Before that they were just putting to the NE stickers manually "Daueraufenthalt-EG". Wait for this, wait for that, time passes by, I am sick of waiting all these security checks, and now it is not enough, we wait for new stickers... oh well...

How long does it take to get NE-Daueraufenthalt EG after applying? I was told few days ago at ABH that it can take upto 3 months because they need to check several things e.g with police & so on.

How much fees did you pay for this upgradation from NE-EG?
As I was charged 85 euro for this upgrade..

I just got Daueraufenthalt EG in Bonn. It costs 10 Euro and under AMMERKUNGEN field is written also : "$9 AufenthG (Daueraufenthaltsrecht EG)"
Can I have your email address as I want to discuss regarding the fees. I was charged 85euro for same.

Officers discussed it with looking to some documents and decided to charge me 85€ and I paid it of course. It is worth the freedom of leaving germany for 12 months and work anywhere else in EU except DK&UK and come back again without issues.

It is little bit surprising that they charge same fee (85euro)also for up gradation from NE to NE-EG.
How come some people like mihais were charged 10 Euro?
Normally fee should be same Bundesweit isnt it?

Please do not make me laugh here. Let me tell you a story. I got a BE from Wiesbaden in my previous passport and then moved to Frankfurt and got a new passport, guess what, the sticker needs to be transferred to the new one. Frankfurt ABH said it is not OK to transfer the same thing given by Wiesbaden to my new passport but it needs to be confirmed by the Frankfurt ABH manager. Wiesbaden is the capital city of state Hessen, and Frankfurt is another city in the same state. So 2 cities are having problems to understand their behaviour in practicing same things. You are talking about everything should be same Bundesweit etc.
