Daueraufenthalt-EG

Hi,

I was a student for 2.5 Yrs, now working for about 4.5 yrs in Germany.

I have applied for D-EG. The Beamtin took half of my student time in to account. No need of any proof about 60 months RentenV payment.

All I needed was:

House rental contract
3 salary slips
letter from company about your work contract
passport

Finally, she said she will inform after verification. Could someone provide info about how long it could take? Any experiences?

Re: Daueraufenthalt-EG

Hi,

Congratulations!
Could you please tell me where in Germany are you located? Here in Berlin ABH claims on its web-page that one must have paid those 60 months RentenV.
Do you have a permanent (unbefristet) job contract?

Cheers,

Re: Daueraufenthalt-EG

You might take the print out of the law §9a from
http://www.aufenth.../aufenthaltsg.html#9a
and show it 2 the beamtint...there is nothing specified like 60 months rentenV required.

BTW, I'm living in München. I also know that some of my friends in Nürnberg got this as well.

I have unlimited job contract.

Re: Daueraufenthalt-EG

Hello All,

I tried to enquire with Immigration Officer about Daueraufenthalt-EG and here are the following information on this.

Niederlassungerlaubnis:
- one has to stay for 5 years
- one has to pay 60 months of rente

Daueraufenthalt-EG:
- One has a possibility to move to another schengen country (for instance another job) without applying for any visa.
- To get the Daueraufenthalt-EG it's required to prove, that you took care of your retirement arrangement - according to § 9c AufenthG. But no one says, how to prove or for how long payments are required.
- Every immigration officer required different payments, which is not good. (The Law is one)
- Not need to show 60 months of rente.

Cheers,

Re: Daueraufenthalt-EG

Daueraufenthalt EG is an additional clause to the Niederlassungserlaubnis and gives you more flexibility.

Re: Daueraufenthalt-EG

1. is there any state that considers full student time for Niederlassungerlaubnis/Daueraufenthalt-EG ?

2. i know that some states are considering full student time for citizenship (like Hessen). what about BW?
