My wife got a job and now she needs Sozialversicherungsausweis - does anybody know where to get it from ? On one sites I found that employer should apply for it, on others - that is should be issued by Krankenkasse, however our private insurance said that they don't issue any Sozialversicherungsausweis... Arbeitsamt also wasn't helpfull at all :/

A week after I started with my new Job, I received the Sozialversicherungsausweis. I guess my Employer had done it for me. Try to ask the employer where she can get this Sozialversicherungsausweiss.

I don't know y u r worrying about Socialversicherungsausweis.. what do u want to do with it?
btw., employer will do all necessary things.. so u may get it in future...

Hi,
You can get Sozialversicherungsausweis from the Health insurance companies like Techniker Krankenkasse (TK)
