Questions after UK HSMP approval

Hello

I got approval from HSMP UK. I started to look for job in UK IT market. I am getting very good response and getting almost every day 3 to 4 telephonic interview. Some company would like to take face to face interview, for this I need UK visa. If I go to UK with valid work permit, only to face an interview

[1] Can I come back and work on my current Germany work permit (GC) after interview?
[2] What will be the effect on my GC after HSMP VISA on my passport?

-Kind Regards

Re: Questions after UK HSMP approval

HI All,

Sorry to post this here, but I know that there are many pre - German and present UK experts.

I have a initial 1 yr HSMP approval which is going to end on 29.09.06. I am planning to take up a job starting 1st of July. So my question is I only have 3 months again to renew my HSMP and is this 3 months residence enough to prove my living in UK, ofcourse I have a valid work contract unlimited and also have a very good bank balance.

Please some expert advise on this. Can I make evrything possible in 3 months, job I have found, but finding a house, applying for HSMP extension and so on.

May be someone can comment on how easy it is to find a house in London surroundings.

regards
Jackal.

Re: Questions after UK HSMP approval

@Jackal

Take a look at the sections:

Requirements for an extension of stay as a highly skilled migrant
Extension of stay as a highly skilled migrant
Refusal of extension of stay as a highly skilled migrant

under this link: http://www.ind.hom...art_5/section_1.html?

the main problem is that, in the uk, everytime you spend more than 180 days per year abroad (they are thinking of shortening it to 90 days) the counter gets reset.

However, as long as you have a Job and pay taxes, they tend to be more lenient than in Germany if you have a gap, and it is probable that you get a 5 year extension. (You need 4 for undefinitive leave to remain).

Look for a flat in www.gumtree.com and findaproperty.co.uk, anything less than £100 pounds per week in london in zones 1-2, is usually bad.

@Mohammed

Yes, you should attach as much evidence as possible. You need a certified translation that is accepted by the british embassy.

Re: Questions after UK HSMP approval

Hello Rajesh,

I am in the process of applying HSMP for UK. What do you say, it is better to go thro' some consultant or we can do it by ourself?

What was your experience on this?

Satish.

Re: Questions after UK HSMP approval

Got the most professional advice on my HSMP Tier 1 visa from M/S Angel visa services Pvt. Ltd. and got the visa on the first attempt despite having an age difference of 10 yrs. I applied through them in New-Delhi. May be you should also try them as they have a good networking with UK immigration Lawyers. http://www.theangelworld.com
