Hello All indians,
first of all congratulations for being in germany.U r definitely encouraging "India" name over there.
But I also wanna part of you. So Can anyone suggest how to apply jobs In germany?
I am B.E Mechanical with 4 years of experience in design dept. in automobile comapny.
Is there any jobs which are automobile related?
Please guide me.

now no, but in 2005 could be that ME are allowed to come.
It is not clear yet.

I have searched these sites & found many jobs that are relevant to me.
But I have doubt whether They will consider my application,Since I have applied from India?
Or is it necessary to go through some intermediate agency?

Sorry, but if your skills are really needed for them, they will consider your application even if you apply from the moon.. 
If not, then it will not even make a big difference, if you physically live in Germany..
A lot of engineers are also jobless here.. sorry.. not trying to
discourage you.. just telling the facts..

Here no intermediate agencies work mostly as far as I know.
How much German can u speak ?
For your field, country is defenitely relevant, but still, how much german can u speak ?
This is the biggest factor, more than your skills.

If you have good job there I would not advice you to come here.

hello amol,
i am also working here in the automotive industry....at present it might not be conducive to apply as every company will be closing their accounts for this financial year....
you may have a chance based on your degree and experience.
but the fact is many germans in the same category are jobless.
but u can try.
The present scenario is
Automotive Manufacturers:
Opel and VW are in soup
Audi(part of VW) is doing well
Daimler is doing well.
BMW is continuing good.
Automotive Suppliers.
BOSCH, SIEMENS, CONTITeeves are having mixed results.
But since you are in the indian automotive market, my advice would be to stay back and continue as its really booming.
Bosch is going to invest in Common Rail Diesel injection (200 Million euros) in India
Siemens has planned to expand its activities in its component buissness.
VW is expanding with its SKODA wing.
TATA motors and MAruti Udyog is leading the market tremendously and MAruti has planned to expand its Diesel division by producing Suzuki Diesel Engines
All these are just the tip of the iceberg in the indian automotive industry. Its going to be the boom industry for the next 15 years.
So i think you should have ample choices there, rather than coming here´.
Not discouraging you but just giving you the options you have there.

On the other hand, if you mannage to get job here (if), it could be smart to get some experience in De and get back in India later.
With De working experience you could be much more valuable for German companies in India, and better paid of course.

Hi Amol,
I would also state the same.You can try but i doubt it might happen as, both mechanical and electronic components of the auto industry is no more concentrated in Germany primarily.
Even for Daimler, the motor (engines) are being delivered out of Hungary.
When it concerns desings,you would be surprised that , most of the major automakers in DE (Germany) are sourcing designs from one common institute.I think its in Italy, thats why so many of the models today look so similar, even its a Daimler, Nissan, BMW or Mazda.
But one hint , I would provide you, in case you apply, then do not only try for German car makers, but be sure to apply for the Japanese companies like Toyota,Nissan and Honda.They are the only ones, who look like investing in technical expansion programs in central europe.
