I was following this forum since last two months and see a very useful and practical information for foreigners in Germany.
I moved to Germany two months back based on employment from a company based in X city. My job location is in Y city. Its kind of consulting job.
Currently my Anmeldung in X city. When I looked at my contract, nothing really said about job locations. Now I am living in Y city actual Anmeldung in X city.
Should I now register at city Y ? Since there is nothing mentioned in my contract about job locations, does it pose any problem ?
Some advise would be appreciated..

I guess its important to register in the city you are living currently. If you have not yet registered,I would ask stadtamt people what they appreciate.

That's not a problem! But if you register as well in the city Y (as your second home city) then you could claim that in your tax return!
