Re: Indian Community in Berlin

We always do the same and get the same expected results and never go out from our comfort zone...

Means Intract with germans u get more benifit and more social proof ..
If ur doing this then ignore the message.

BTW im from berlin but hardly stay there.

Re: Indian Community in Berlin

Was kinda ready to say what deathinc said, try to interact more with people, people who are outside the Indian community, if not, after a year, when going back to India, they'll ask you "How are the Germans?" and you'll start talking about the bad experiences you made *because* you didn't wanted to mix with them.

I've no friend of my "community" in Berlin, all the people I know and interact with, my neighbors taken apart, are either Germans, people from India, Poland or elsewhere and more than 90% of them are Germans.

You got a chance to know a new culture, take the chance, don't waste it.

Completely agree. Make the most of this opportunity to open your mind, meet people from different cultures and perspectives and in the end you become a much better and balanced person.

You guys met enough Indians in India, why not go for a change?

Vikranth,

Do not forget to quaff Kartoffel and lots of Sauerkraut. It sure is a good way to start imbibing in the true German spirit.

Meanwhile, have a happy Kartoffel day und frohes neues Kartoffeljahr.
