Immigration law ..Whats the Status?
Hey all,
Whats the status of our favourate "immigration law"? Are they discussing something/Will they decide something somewhere in this century?

The Immigration Law will be again discussed on 30.04.2004.
As the media says on that friday will be taken "The decision", if there are chances to be voted or not.
So lets pray...

Bis Ende März 2004 hat die Bundesagentur für Arbeit 16.125 Arbeitserlaubnisse für ausländische IT-Fachkräfte zugesichert. 325 Anträge wurden seit August 2000 abgelehnt. Die überwiegende Zahl der GreenCard-Inhaber kommt mit 4.608 aus Indien, gefolgt von 1.945 Arbeitnehmern aus den Folgestaaten der ehemaligen Sowjetunion sowie 1.089 Personen aus Rumänien und 1009 aus der Tschechischen bzw. Slowakischen Republik. Insgesamt 13.650 Personen sind aus dem Ausland eingereist und 2.475 sind ausländische Studienabgänger an deutschen Hoch-/Fachhochschulen.
