DE Burgeschaft
I start the procedure.
For those who want to know...
I call Einbürgeramt(local town) and made an application for DE Burgerschaf.
I mean time they told me to go in VHS and just make the test proof for Integrationkurs and Orientirungkurs, couse there is no need for making all because I speak (communicate with them) excellent on german language.
Afther the proof,VHS (VolksHochSculle)confirm about my test and I present then this documents also:
- Pass
- Working contract or monthly incoms paper(not ALGII or HarzIV)- I think ALGI is OK?! I have not aks....
- Confirmation of loos or gave-up previous citizenship.
- 250€ pro person.
According to my present country embassy the procedure of givin up the present citizenship goes arround 3-4 months and cost 1500 € (idiots they think that I have at home printers for €.) and afterwards they are sending me the Confirmation.
For my children they told me that they receive automatcaly DE citizneship (pass) and can keep till 16 years old boot citizenship.
I did not ask for my wife, because she is (very)happy with her NE.
Should be arround August 2007 all done.
Bet someone from you will also request DE citizenship or?!

Re: DE Burgeschaft
Got call from ‘Standesamt’ after 5 months finally and they told me that now the ‘Landes Gericht Niedersachsen’ must bring the final decision i.e. with court/law act must be approved cutting 8 years and approving 7 years process of citizenship.
Does someone on 7 year procedure for citizenship, took the same way?
I mean, he/she was waiting the court decision to be brought so he/she can get the citizenship?
@ mailsuji
Sorry for late answer.
Yes they have asked me and requested the papers strictly.

Re: DE Burgeschaft
@max,
I did not understand your last message.
I too am in the queue since last 5 months, whereas Einbürgerungsamt sent the papers to Darmstadt(ofcourse as per 7 years rule).
What I really dont understand that if they had to wait for the Gericht decision, then why did they ask for this Integrationskurs(which is now part of law) and even B-1 Test is now made compulsory for Ehepartner as well to apply for CZ.
I think, the relavant authority is not Standesamt, but Einbürgerungsamt(if such exists in your area) to give you the exact answer.
What I or you should be looking for the "Zusicherung" from Darmstadt and after then, one may go for the "Renunciation of existing Nationality" from Home-country.
If it takes 8 years, then why one should/must bother for this Integrations-stuff?
You should ask them to give this thing in writing.
Please update with the progress.

You right. Sorry it is Einbürgerungsamt but it is in same building with the Standesamt hier , that’s why I said Standesamt.
Never the less…but about the court decision, I am too confused.
But that is what they have told me.
I send them an official brief after 5 moths asking them where the things are standing by, and afterwards they are always contacting to me over the phone. I did not push them to respond to me written because from previous experience (and believe me I have it as much as you like) I do not like to have any problems.
Last time, the day before yesterday, was our last meeting.
They told – now the court have to make decision – Landes Gericht Niedersachsen – which has to make decision if I am able to get cut of 8 to 7 years.
Why now the Landes Gericht Niedersachsen must approve it and how long…..???????
Let’s see.

@Max
i dont know about your case, but in general one should really avoid to contact the Einbürgerungsamt (Regierungspräsidium) often after one has put his application for citizenship.

@max,
<<I send them an official brief after 5 moths <<asking them where the things are standing by
As MH advised, just avoid unnecessary attempts to further delay your case. If you check the letter, what you got from Regierungspräsidium, then it is clearly written, that with such enquiries, would further delay your case.
Now, if you have such meetings, then just ask them about the details of such Landes stuff and for every Court-case, there is a number, thru which, you may varify, whether what they are asking is correct or not.
Or, what I fear that as they are aware of your Medical/Unemployment situation, so it might be that they are delaying to check, whether you try for ALG-II or such things.
Neverthless, just wait and avoid ALG-II during such processing.

Sorry for late answer…
@MH
Sure I will not. I will wait.
@mailsuji
No. I have my pass with me.
@A.T
What I have been told is that according the law of cutting to 7 years citizenship, the Supreme Court must bring the decision for it.
Ok…at the beginning I call Ministerial für Flüchtlinge which gave approval for making the ZD and Integration exam.
I did it and from them I got the Certificate (B1-ZD).
Then I go to Einbürgerung amt and they gave me the list which documents they need.
When I have submit to them all papers that they where requesting, I ask them if all my documents are OK and if according to those documents which I am submitting I do have right to become German citizenship.
They told me – yes. If I was not having the all documents that they where needing it, they wouldn’t accept my application.
So, I was waiting 5 months and ask them what is going on, they ask for new Birth certificates and told me that now the Supreme Court must make the decision if I will get German citizenship on 7 years base law.
My question is/was, why the Einbürgerung amt need such court approval when they are institution who is in charge for it?
And is it a normal procedure by cutting for 8 to 7 years, the decision to be made form the Supreme Court?
According the law….
I do receive Kranken Geld and it is according the Sozialgesetzbuch (SGB) Fünftes Buch (V) - Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung - (SGB V).
Maybe, I assume (and you have right I am sure), in my case the Supreme Court must give “pass mark” because according the law also, is written that if a person has lost his job not on his guilty the citizenship can be done also and now they are checking my status.
I did not want to say, but I am quite done for long time as “not available for work”.
I would gladly like to go to work and to be health but….damn live.
But what most worries me is, how the hell I am going to find 1500€ for giving up my present citizenships?
That county is hell of corruption and idiots.

Re: DE Burgeschaft
@max,
Sorry to hear about your health condition.
Ofcourse, its not in your hand.
Actually, I still don't understand this Court-decision. As, somebody even talked of provision of applying after 6 years(under certain conditions).
People under such processing, even avoid taking ALG-I, as otherwise, they need to again submit 3-Payslip. Ofcourse, you got Anspruch(when you applied), but still, as its a long process, and till it is not finished, you are required to come clean. Egal wie!
I think, after NE-experience, you should have learned, how it works here.
As soon as you get it, might regard it useless
till you fly.
So, I would advise:
1. Dont pursue and let them come with some answer.
2. Though difficult, but you should try to prove that you are again able to look after your family without taking Social benefits.
Ofcourse, they would not allow someone to get Nationality, who is already on Social, because after that, it is assumed that you will not work(based upon their X-perience).
So, perhaps for short time(if and when allowed), do show some Beschäftigung, so that they realize that you are not going to apply Sozial for ever.
Gute Besserung
