Citizenship under 8-yr rule - list of docs needed
Guys, plz excuse me if this question has already been covered in any of the recent threads, as my search yielded no results. As my title says, I would like to get a list of all docs needed for submission under 8-yr rule.
Following are the ones that I am aware of:
1. DTZ Certificate
2. Einbürgerungtest
3. Salary slips in support of your secured employment
4. Orienterungskurstest
5. My application (state: NRW)
Questions:
a) Is there anything that I might be missing out?
b) Orienterungskurstest - is this mandatory or varies from state to state? BAMF site (link below) doesn’t seem to address this topic leaving me a bit confused. Is there any other link that could be trusted? Plz advise.

after 8 yr, one doesn't need DTZ+Orientierungskurs instead a language proficiency 'Zertificat deutsch B1'. sometimes level A2 is also accepted.
One can't make a standard list of documents for citizenship application. It depends on individual(applicant and sometimes the case officer) and the city in which you apply.
Instead of searching info on the forum, best option is to make an appointment with Einbürgerungsamt and get the list of documents directly from them. It saves you time.

Well, wasn't really aware that even A2 proficiency might be enough too. Good to know mate - thanks. Will take your suggestion and check it out directly with the authorities.

Hello Guyz, sorry for my brief silence.
So, here is what I could gather from hourse's mouth against §10:
Apart from the standard docs (i.e. salary slips, translated & attested DOB/Marriage certificates etc.) one needs to produce
- DTZ + Einbürgerungstest certificates [only]
- Orienterungskurs is needed only for people going through Intergrationkurs. Hope I have got it right, since it goes in line with what BAMF link talks about.
Only point that's still worrying me though is that guyz up there tend to interpret "differently" even if they are sitting in the same room. Who knows - maybe one who "owns" my application suddenly asks for Orienterungskurs?
Any thoughts?
