citizenship

Hi friends,

I went to einbürgerung stelle in january and got list of required documents(EB test etc). In the meanwhile I passed EB test and got certificate. I got appointment for submission of all documents on May 30. But now I am going to start my new job from July 1st. Shall I inform the beamter about this or not, because I am going to submit the last 3 salary slips from current working company.

Thanks,

Regards.

Re: citizenship

Hi

At the time of application submission you do not need to tell the beamter just provide all the documents they need. After submitting the application a case worker/beamter will be appointed for your application and you will also get an application reference number. In this letter it will be written that if any change in you address, work etc. happens then you have to inform them. At this stage it is the right time to inform your case worker/beamter with your application reference number.

Khan

Re: citizenship

@kewlbuddy

me and my wife have an appointment in August to submit our documents. The Beamter has given us a list of documents for Einbürgerung and one more thing, that he will fill up the forms at that moment only. (he didn't gave us any forms)

Could you please let me know what kind of questions they ask, it will be helpful for me.

Thanks in advance!!

@mishra

sorry for the late reply. I didnt browse this forum since long time.

The beamter didnt ask any questions. Only checked all the documents needed and asked for some more.
As I am in probation, she said I have to wait for 6 months and then the case proceeds further.

Unfortunately I didnt get any acknowledgement till now.

Re: citizenship

Dear friends

I applied for EB this year Feb also for my wife and kid.

My wife is in Germany by now 6 years. My kid is born in Germany.

The office told me that i will get it soon. But he expressed some complexity about my wife and kid. As my wife is not 8 years in Germany and my kid is small. My kid is 4 years. And she is going to Kita. They took the documents too.

I and my wife passed all the exams necessary and submitted all necessary documents.

Are there any criteria for dependents for citizenship?

Any answers for the following will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in Advance.

Re: citizenship

@man0106

The minimum requirement for a dependant is to have stayed in Germany for at least 4 years,which you wife has already done.

For a minor child, the requirement is to have stayed here half it's age, which in your case is not a problem at all.

I wish you all the best for EB application process.

I think I had read it in the law here: http://www.gesetze...ag/BJNR005830913.html or may be I heard it from the case worked when I went to collect the application forms.
