Sozialversicherungausweise ( Social Security Card) - need help

Hello,

My name is sachin and I am working in Darmstadt from last 3 years(I have GC). After June my contract with my company is finished therefore I talked to arbeitsamt for arbeitlösengeld for financial support during next few months. The arbeitsamt is also agreed and They asked me Sozialversicherungausweise during registration. I have my socail security number but I do not have Sozialversicherungausweise. Some of my friends got this. But I did not get this till now.
Do anyone knows about Sozialversicherungausweise and how I can get this.
Please Help me. I need this urgently.

Hi,

Once u are employed u will automatically get Sozialversicherungsausweis. In frankfurt we have some(sorry i dont know the name) amt in zeil. but u can find it in www.bfa.de .
As of my knowledge your employer has to fill a form for arbeitlos. your employer may have that number . coz he has to fill that number in that form. better u call bfa people.
