Self employed and Contract work at the same time
OK. I hope someone can help me out here. I have been working three years as selbststandig in Berlin doing a variety of odd jobs on my Gewerbeschein. I now have the opportunity to take a contract job, this is possible because through the birth of my daughter I now have an unlimited visa. My question is: Can I still generate income as selbststandig when I take a part time position with a company. I am responsible for the income for three people. I earn 13,000 Brutto in the position on offer. Is it possible to continue to earn as much as possible working self-employed. Where do I run into tax trouble, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have to say ya or nay to this job in the next week.

Can I still generate income as selbststandig when I take a part time position with a company, yes.
Is it possible to continue to earn as much as possible working self-employed, yes.
Where do I run into tax trouble, etc, nowhere, just keep paying your taxes and make your declaration every month if you do that every month.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have to say ya or nay to this job in the next week, I think you meant "ja" or "nein", but in anycase, you can say "ja" without fearing nothing.
