New rules to invite parents


Hi everybody,

Can anyone throw light on the new rules to invite parents to Germany ? I am working here with Aufenthaltserlaubnis $18 AufenthG since last 2 years ? How much money one has to show and is this compulsory ? what the parents have to do to avoid this showing money stuff ?

I am not sure if this was discussed earlier in the forum ? I tried to search but could not get any threads later than 2006 ..

depend on the mood of the beamter and how good your german ist.

however 3 months payslip should be okay.
otherwise additional 6000 euro proof in bank account may be requested.
