Applying for indian police clearing certificate
Hi,
after 6 years living in Germany we decided that our future should go to Australia. We have applied skill migration. We were asked to provide indian police clearance certificate since we have been living in india for 2 years.
Since in this forum, i assume there are many indians and many helpful people, i would like to ask here.
I have contacted india consulate in Munich, but they said they cannot give me the clearance, since i am not indian citizen.
According to australian immigration booklet, i need to send letter to ministry of home affairs in delhi. I think it would take some time.
My question is do you know any immigration specialist in Delhi who can help me to get indian police clearance? Thanks a lot.

The procedure to get police clearance certificate is two-fold. First you will have to apply for police clearance certificate to head of police department of city. For example, In Indian states like UP, Haryana or Punjab the name of Police department is SSP office (Senior Superintendent of police).
The certificate issued by SSP will be counter-signed and stamped by Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi.
It may take couple of weeks.

Since i cannot go to go India, is there any way to do it via Germany or do you know any immigration specialist ín India who can do it for me?

India is so big.where u lived for 2 years ?do u have prove for that?Any registration hotal slip or rent slip?
Hm normally u need to go india for all this but.first tell me where u lived or from which airport u hav immigration stamp.
What is ur nationality?
Did u stay leaglly in india for 2 years?
Did u do have any criminal record in india?( I hope not but tell the truth)?
Till when u need this verification?
I had some links with delhi police when i was in india.
And for one of my case I needed that police verification,I made it done in just one day.
but now I have to see if links are still alive or not.

Maybe you should contact professional detective agencies and employment background check agencies. These are the kind of people who are in regular contact with police.
Do a google search and get in touch with them... they might do this for a fee..
Employment background check is done by most employers in India, where applicant antecedants are checked with the Police.
