Wedding in Hindu Temple? Info!

Hi,

Can someone from strong Trust7 community give me some information...
I mean does anybody, nobody, or somebody know if temples in Germany are allowed to do Indian marriage ceremony?

I know that one has to get the official on paper marriage in Standesamt. Can second phase (Church maarriage) be done in Indian temple in Germany??

Thanks in advance,

Ofcourse! How do you think Hindu people get married here in Germany? Though Gurudwara-weddings are more popular compared to Temple-weddings. If you want a full-show (band-baja, barat, fireworks...) then you need to rent a hall and need permission from Rathause. Let me tell you that this is not inexpensive, a friend of mine got married in 1999 and he had to pay for 5000 Mark alone for the hall just for a day.

Re: Wedding in Hindu Temple? Info!

Thanx! Akshay,

Yes party and other stuff is pretty expensive. I have enquired about it.

Only information missing was about hindu marriage (7 circles around fire etc.)

It will be great if you have an idea about expenses for the rituals in temple.

I have found some phone no. I will check them.

Once again Thanks,
